What is Personal Training?

Personal training is a personal trainer coach working with a client on a 1 to 1 basis helping them to implement an exercise program to better a client’s health. At One Arena we provide 1 to 1 personal training as well as teammate training which is 2 clients working with a coach. Our personal training programs alongside our personal trainer coaches are all individually tailored towards the goals of the client but our programs aren’t solely focused on just training, the program also focuses on developing lifestyle changes so that our clients can live happier, healthier, and activity-filled lives. 

Other than personal training we focus on other lifestyle factors such as nutrition, sleep, and stress to help clients optimise their lifestyle so they can be healthier as well as fitter, and stronger.  


One Arena Personal Training Programs consists of but is not limited to the following:


  1. Consultation and Assessment – Discuss which is the right package for you and identify goals, strengths, weaknesses, and limiting factors with your Cork based Personal Trainer
  2. Individualised Training Program – Developed by our personal trainer around the client’s goals, but also to improve identified weaknesses and further develop the client’s strengths.
  3. Access to Our Nutri-Zone Program – Used by the personal trainer and client to educate and help develop healthy habits and a positive attitude towards food.
  4. Weekly and Daily Check-In Questionnaires – Your personal trainer will check in to monitor nutrition, sleep, and stress levels on both a weekly and daily level so we can make positive changes.
  5. Regular Body Composition Analysis – Using our Inbody – 270 machine to continually monitor body composition to see if the training and nutrition interventions are doing what we expect them to do with your personal trainer recording what needs to be done next.
  6. Constant Progress Monitoring – Your personal trainer monitoring of training to ensure the client is progressively overloading and pushing themselves
