Blake Ring

I studied Psychology and Economics in U.C.C. from 2014 to 2018. Over this time studying, I learned of my passion for training and exercise and it quickly became clear to me that working in the fitness industry is what I really wanted to do.

So in 2019, I started my studies in training with the National Training Centre where I started to accumulate knowledge and qualifications.

I am very passionate about sports, having played all of football, hurling, soccer and golf at one time. I have managed under-age football teams and performed Strength & Conditioning for adult teams also. I have also worked in tandem with Cork Sports Programme to run Couch To 5ks and help with the running of Health Screening days.

Ultimately my main goal in training is to help people feel healthier, fitter and happier.

My main satisfaction is seeing the look on people’s faces when they hit their weight-loss goal, lift a new benchmark or every time they achieve something they thought they never would such as old t-shirts no longer fitting, having their pants fall down of their waist or even just getting up and down the stair without losing their breath
